Ella is everyone's favourite hill country that has all the best parts of Sri Lanka rolled into one. Geographically, Ella is a small town in Badulla District of Uva Province, Sri Lanka. It is located at an elevation of 1,040 metres above sea level and approximately 200 kilometres east of Colombo. In recent years, Ella's popularity has increased, and the town's attractiveness has increased. Ella is filled with beautiful jungle mountains, rolling tea plantations, and epic waterfalls. And most importantly, when selecting hotels, Ella takes a special place in Sri Lanka. This is because the hotels have been constructed with nature and in nature, like in hills. 
 
Mostly tourists are reaching Ella by train, which has the best scenic ride in Sri Lanka. Tourists take the train from Nuwara Eliya Railway Station or Kandy Railway Station to Ella.
